Tom Cruise gives Victoria Canal and her brother a helicopter ride

Tom Cruise was spotted giving his new girlfriend Victoria Canal a ride in London — and in true Tom Cruise style, the two drove in style.

On Friday, July 12, TopGun The 62-year-old actor and Canal, a 25-year-old singer-songwriter, were spotted traveling together about a helicopter that Cruise was flying.

Photos taken by photographers show Cruise sitting in the pilot’s seat shortly after a helicopter lands at a London airstrip before getting out and helping Canal get out.

The actor also helped Canal zip up her fluffy coat before escorting her off the runway.

Cruise kept his look casual, wearing a dark t-shirt, black puffer coat and sweatpants, while Canal paired her coat with a dark green sweater and baggy jeans.

This is not the first time that Cruise has taken Canal with him. On Tuesday, July 9, the two came to the premiere of Twisters by helicopter, and Canal even shared a video of Cruise in the pilot’s seat on her Instagram account.

“Not Tom Cruise flying me and my brother in a helicopter to the @twisters movie premiere!!!!” she wrote in the caption of the post, adding a “lolol.”

In the video, which Canal shot from the back seat of the helicopter, Cruise is seen wearing a headset and aviator sunglasses as they flew over an empty green field. Canal also shared a selfie of herself sitting in the back seat of the helicopter wearing her own headset, as well as selfies with Cruise and her brother Nick Canal at the Twisters Premiere.

After Victoria shared the photos of her helicopter ride with Cruise on Instagram, her comments were filled with questions from fans and fellow musicians about how she met the star and why he took her and her brother along.

“We met backstage (at Glastonbury Festival) talking about the upcoming premiere we were both going to and he said ‘come with me!'” she wrote in response to a comment. “‘I’ll take you guys in the helicopter!’ lol”

Both the singer and the actor attended Coldplay’s Glastonbury Festival 2024 in the UK on Saturday, June 29, and Victoria even appeared on stage to sing “Paradise” with the group.

Although she and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have worked together before (she is even signed to his label Parlophone Records), the singer-songwriter told BBC Radio 1 after her performance at the festival that the show came together in just a few weeks.

“(Chris Martin) called me on Facetime and said, ‘Hey Vic, do you know this song? ‘Paradise’ by Coldplay?'” she recalled and the presenter laughed. “And I said: ‘Yes, I know that song.'” And he said: ‘Would you like to be at Glastonbury?’ “And I said: ‘Sure!'”

“I had to check with my girlfriend in the morning if it was really a dream,” Victoria continued, before reflecting on the moment she came on stage.

“I literally blacked out,” she said, laughing. “I literally can’t tell you what happened. I just remember before I got onstage, I was jumping up and down to all their other songs and looking around. Paul McCartney was backstage, Tom Cruise was in the balcony and all these crazy A-listers. … It just seemed so fast.”
