“Love is Blind: UK” is renewed for season 2, first season starts in August

Love is blind continues its expansion worldwide, with the UK version of the dating reality series now dated for August 2024, and we can confirm that the series has already received a renewal for Season 2.

After its first broadcast in 2020 with the US series Love is Blind, it quickly became one of Netflix’s biggest reality series. Several regional spin-offs have already been released, including versions for Brazil, Sweden and Japan. New versions for Germany, Argentina and Habibi are in the works.

New episodes will be released every Wednesday for three weeks starting August 7. Here is the full release schedule:

• Week 1 – August 7 – Episodes 1-4
• Week 2 – August 14 – Episodes 5-9
• Week 3 – August 21 – Episodes 10-11

We assume that there will also be a reunion episode for Love is blind: Great Britainfurther details to follow.

The hosts of the British version of the show are Emma and Matt Willis, who, not coincidentally, share the same surname but are husband and wife. Matt is perhaps best known as one of the co-founders of the band Busted, while Emma is best known as a former Big Brother contestant.

Earlier this year, the two presenters spoke about the upcoming series at a Next on Netflix UK showcase event in London. Emma said: “It was wonderful, it was fascinating. It was fascinating to watch the process as well and we can’t wait for people to join us on this little journey when the series comes out later this year.” Matt reiterated that it had been a “dream” to work on the show with his wife.

Love is blind: Great Britain Already renewed for season 2

According to several people connected to the show, pre-production has begun for the upcoming second season of the reality dating show; casting is currently open, and filming is scheduled for sometime later this year.

Netflix representatives confirmed the extension for the Love is blind: Great Britain earlier this year when we asked for comment, but did not provide a timeframe for when the show would return.
