A new report from SmartAsset, a financial technology company, has compiled a list of the “best value colleges” in the Garden State.

Below you will find the top 10. These include both public and private colleges and universities.

SmartAsset analyzed colleges based on five categories: tuition, student living costs, scholarship and grant offerings, student retention rate, and starting salary for graduates.
