At Fox 8 News, we believe clubs aren’t just for kids! Here in Northeast Ohio, there are plenty of adult clubs to join for all kinds of hobbies.

Tremont Roasted Yarn Club
If you love crocheting, knitting or crafting, we have just the club for you! The Roasted Tremont Yarn Club meets the first Sunday of every month at 10am in the cafe and everyone is welcome. It’s a great opportunity to connect with local crafters, enjoy a cup of coffee and get inspired.

Cle Gals Book Club
If you’re a Cleveland “girlie pop” who loves to read, this club is for you! Each month, the club hosts a book club meeting (usually centered around a popular book) at various locations. They even hold special events like silent book clubs and book clubs on the beach!
Hiking Babes Cleveland
If you’re a woman who loves the outdoors and hiking, why not go on adventures with like-minded people? The Hikerbabes hiking club is a Northeast Ohio and Cleveland-based club that hosts hikes and adventures throughout the region. With hikes and adventures planned nearly every day this summer, you’re sure to find someone to join.

CLE Readers Book Club
“A book a day keeps reality at bay” is the motto of the CLE Readers book club. The book club is held at Cafe Roasted in Lakewood and hosts monthly meetings as well as book swaps, trips to book fairs, and more. Cleveland Running Club
The Cleveland Run Club is the perfect excuse to go for a run and meet people while you’re at it. Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the club meets at various locations around the city, including Kamm’s Corner, Rocky River Metro Parks, Lakewood, Downtown, and Tremont. Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club
The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club is the largest and oldest professional association for young professionals in Northeast Ohio. With thousands of members ages 21 to 45, the club hosts more than 100 events each year including social activities, networking activities, charity events and educational activities. From wine tastings and trivia nights to summer picnics and volleyball leagues, the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club has something for you!

Yarn about Cleveland
Yarn Over Cleveland is a club for crochet and yarn lovers of all ages in the Cleveland area. “We love to talk about yarn, hooks and patterns, help each other with projects we’re working on, or get inspiration from each other,” the club’s Facebook page says. Join regular meetings and workshops to get started on your craft today.
Svette Signers
The memory and legacy of Sharon Svette, an intervention specialist at Elyria High School, lives on in the Svette Signers, an ASL choir in northeast Ohio.

The Portage Lakes Running Company hosts races throughout the Akron area. There is also a Cleveland branch for runners called PLX North Running Company.
