According to In Touch Weekly, singer Drake would like to date Jennifer Lopez if she divorces her husband Ben Affleck.

“Obviously, Drake won’t be with her while she’s still married,” a source told In Touch. “He would never cross that line. But once things with Ben are officially over, he’ll be ready and waiting to show her a good time.”

The source added to In Touch: “Drake may have a chance because they were never serious.”

In Touch reported on July 10 that despite their age difference, Lopez and Drake “briefly dated romantically in 2016.” He is 37 and she is 54.

Despite the rumors circulating around them, Lopez and Affleck have not yet confirmed their divorce. However, TMZ reported in early June that they are living separately and have put their shared mansion up for sale. At the time, TMZ described their divorce as “imminent” in that story.

According to her Instagram page, Lopez has been vacationing in trendy locations around the world without Affleck, although she was spotted in the Hamptons with his daughter Violet Affleck, 18, on July 12, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

This report comes just days after Lopez posted a retro song about breakups, Cambia el Paso, on her Instagram page. The English translation of the song includes the lyrics: “Her life is better now without him. She knows her hips won’t let her down. She doesn’t need anyone to be healthy. She doesn’t fail, she doesn’t fail.”

People reported that Lopez and Affleck are asking nearly $8 million more than the $60,850,000 purchase price.
