Cervantes’ Summer Patio Series brings warm atmosphere to Denver all season long

Summer is officially here and that means it’s time for the Cervantes’ ballroom masterpiece Summer Patio Concert Series. Denver’s popular live music venue will complement its already fully-equipped two-stage setup with additional outdoor concerts throughout the season.

The Cervantes Summer Terrace Series is already underway and began last month with Korby Montgomery Band And Dirty Byrds and continue with Jake Bein And Timberline TroubadoursLast weekend also saw the second annual Cervs Stockwith some of the Mile High City’s best local tribute bands, including Steely Dead, Yachty is back, Runaway Gin, Nothing but flowers, RevealerAnd John Prine’s illegal smile.

In the future, Cervantes’ many other up-and-coming artists will conquer the terrace stage, which was founded in 2014. Next on the open-air stage will be the local jam band Vanimal Kingdom (28.6.) followed by the Chicago “Soulfunk phenomenon” Zoofunkyou (29.6.) and a special B2B pair from Denver on the day Phyphyr And captain (7/6). The series will premiere in July with performances by Paul McDonald & The Morning Doves (7/13), Sounds of honey (25.7.), Phoebe Katis (26.7.) and an act to be announced as opening act for a ballroom show by Pink talking fish (27.7.).

Cervantes’ Summer Patio Series ends strongly in August, starting on the 2nd with A very Jerry band which will kick off a night full of tributes, including the Phish cover band Phix and tribute to the Allman Brothers Band Other brothers indoors. Finally, summer is coming to an end with Jesh Yancey and the High Hopes supportive Blood relatives (8/8), Moon radish (8/9) and Sun Jr. And Bottle Rocket Hurricane (8/15) before completion with Drew Dvorchak Band Opening for Illiterate light (8/17).

All tickets to shows at Cervantes’ Other Side include access to the evening’s terrace concert. While enjoying Denver’s fading daylight, early risers can enjoy hand-crafted Showtime bites from the recently launched Cosmic Snacks Fast casual restaurant on the other side, open every Thursday to Saturday.
