Duluth Woman’s Club hosts 56th annual Tour of Homes and Gardens – Duluth News Tribune

DULUTH- The Duluth Woman’s Club will host its 56th annual Tour of Homes and Gardens on Wednesday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This self-guided tour begins at the Duluth Woman’s Club (2400 E. Superior St.) and includes five houses and three gardens.

“It’s our only major fundraiser,” said Ellie Dryer, past president and current co-chair of the Duluth Woman’s Club Tour of Homes and Gardens.

The home of Jody Berquist and Thomas Meador, 1724 Minnesota Ave. in Duluth, will be one of the stops during the Duluth Woman’s Club Tour of Homes and Gardens on Wednesday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Local food trucks will be set up at the clubhouse and outdoor seating will be available. The Duluth Boat Club in Park Point also offers tours of its newly constructed boat club.

Tickets are $40 plus a $2 processing fee and are available on the club’s website (duluthwomansclub.com) or by calling 218-724-3168.

This year, celebrating its centennial, the Duluth Woman’s Club invites women of all interests, ages and backgrounds to participate in its social events. Activities include bridge, mahjong, photography, a book club and Friday lunches with educational lectures and musical performances.

The club consists of a board of directors and about 110 members. The goal is to create a community of women supporting women. There are also opportunities for community service.
