Jelly Roll announces surprise show in Tampa after Morgan Wallen cancels concert

Jelly Roll announced a surprise concert in Tampa for tonight after country singer Morgan Wallen canceled his performance at Raymond James Stadium.

“TAMPA! Dallas Bull tonight – doors open at 7pm. If you have a ticket to the show, you get in free,” wrote Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, on X.

Jelly Roll was supposed to open for Wallen, but the “Last Night” singer canceled the show hours before doors opened because he woke up too sick to perform. The concert was postponed until October 4.

Wallen also postponed his concert dates scheduled for July 18 and 19 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Those shows have been rescheduled for October 18 and 19.

In a post on X this morning, Jelly Roll said he would be “working hard to get something going for all of you somewhere tonight.”

The concert at the Dallas Bull, 3322 US 301 in Tampa, begins at 8 p.m. For those who purchased tickets to the Wallen concert, it is first come, first served. In a post on Facebook, the venue said guests must be at least 18 years old.
