Eddie Murphy marries his longtime love Paige Butcher

Actor Eddie Murphy has just married his longtime love Paige Butcher.

The According to People, the 63-year-old comedy legend married a 44-year-old Australian model on Tuesday on the Caribbean island of Anguila.

The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony with family and close friends, including their daughter Izzy Oona, 8, and their five-year-old son Max Charles.

Butcher walked down the aisle in a dress the magazine described as a “lace-embellished corset dress by Mira Zwillinger,” while Murphy wore a white suit by Brioni.

For Murphy it is the second marriage, for Butcher the first.

Murphy and Butcher have been together since 2012 and had their first child together in May 2016. Their second child was born in November 2018, about two months after they announced their engagement.

Butcher rarely talks about her new husband, but ahead of the 2020 Golden Globes, she told Extra TV that Murphy is “very, very sweet and romantic.”

On Friday, people on social media shared a sneak peek of their wedding photos.
