Dive Bar wants to help its lonely regulars find love

The Barn Bar in Illinois is doing something nice for its patrons. The pub’s official TikTok page is filled with posts highlighting a particular person’s age, occupation, and warning signs. All in the name of love!

Take Dave, for example. Old Dave is a team coordinator who owns his own home, loves animals and whose kids are grown! The latter means you can get involved… activities undisturbed! Like watching movies and bird watching, of course! What a boring list of “warning signs”.

“Loves too much”? Come on. Unless that’s a gentler way of saying he’s a little clingy, the bar is so low when we’re out here judging people for caring too much. “Doesn’t drink much” is hilarious considering where he is. Or maybe he goes to bars for the company. After all, we have “avoid conflict.” This seems to contradict his job as “team coordinator.” Isn’t being able to handle conflict part of that job description?

On the other hand, I completely agree with you, brother. Despite my slightly antagonistic personality as an author, I also shy away from conflict!

Local pub rewards its long-time customers by helping them find love

Ah, we still have time for one!

Here we have Kelsey! Of course her profession is “party animal”. How else would you know how quirky and spontaneous she is? I see she’s a combination teacher and bartender, which is sad! The fact that she probably needs both and it’s not an either/or situation should worry people. But enough of that!

The green flags are nice and clean! The Red Flags, but… She likes the bad Boys. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but it certainly raises long-term doubts. “Average bartender” seems like a trap for her employer to demand more from her. “Not shy” is not a red flag! Unless you’re an introvert. In which case, a big red flag. But otherwise, there’s nothing wrong with being open and talkative.

Although you might think that if she were more extroverted, she would call herself a phenomenal bartender. Especially when combined with her job as a teacher, you would think that Kelsey would be full of trivia But tempting bartender stories to keep customers coming back! But if she’s bad at “making the drinks,” the situation is even worse.

Everyone loves it. Hopefully some of these singles will find a meaningful connection soon!
