Travis Kelce dedicated his karaoke victory to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is a man of many talents: part-time background dancer for Taylor Swift, podcast host with over 2.4 million listeners, certified heartthrob and, oh yeah, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Now he’s following in his girlfriend’s footsteps and expanding his repertoire to include a singing career.

The three-time Super Bowl winner may not have released 14 No. 1 albums or sold out a record-breaking tour yet, but he gave it his all at a karaoke contest during the American Century Championship charity golf tournament.

Kelce took the stage in Lake Tahoe, Nevada — dressed casually in khaki cargo shorts and a red, white and blue polo shirt with “USA” emblazoned on the front — to belt out Whitesnake’s 1982 hit “Here I Go Again.” He put on quite a show, showing off silly rocker dance moves, a red face from vocal strain and a gesture with his horns, which he tossed loudly and proudly in the air.

The Instagram page for his and his brother Jason’s podcast, New heights, shared a video of the performance, along with the caption: “Nothing beats @killatrav’s stage presence.”

Kelce was deservedly named the winner of the contest, receiving a check for $10,000 and a small crystal trophy. In a video, the star football player can be seen jumping up and down excitedly when his name is called and jokingly crying during his acceptance speech, making sure to give due recognition. “Taylor, this is for you… I love you guys,” he said while holding his award in the air.

Kelce seems to be quite inspired by the “Fortnight” singer’s artistic career. In May, it was announced that he would be making a foray into acting with a cameo in the new Ryan Murphy show. grotesque.

Despite all his performances, he devotedly played the role of supportive boyfriend, cheering on the music mogul at her concerts.
