LOS ANGELES — The first three seasons of the hit French series “HIP – High Intellectual Potential” can now be streamed on Hulu.

The show served as the inspiration for the new ABC dramedy “High Potential,” starring Kaitlin Olson (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”). The series is scheduled to premiere this fall.

The synopsis of the French version is as follows: “One night, while working as a cleaner at a police station, Morgane cannot resist “tidying up” the items on an investigation board. When the police officers return the next day, they realize that they have brought them a giant step closer to finding the suspect. It turns out that Morgane has great intellectual potential. Morgane makes a deal with the police officers: she agrees to work for them, but in return they must work for her and reopen the investigation into her first great love, who disappeared fifteen years ago.”

The main roles in “HIP – High Intellectual Potential” are played by Marie Denarnaud, Audrey Fleurot, Mehdi Nebbou and Laura Way.

The American adaptation “High Potential” was written by Drew Goddard and stars Olson as Morgan (without the “e”), Daniel Sunjata as Detective Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Osman, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.

“It’s like I just get out of bed and I slip right into the role because, you know, I’m so smart. Have I made that clear? I’m very, very smart,” Olson joked in the commercial.

Watch the premiere of “High Potential” on Tuesday, September 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC, Hulu and this ABC channel.
