Singer Lucky Ali accuses senior IAS officer of grabbing farmland in Bengaluru, files complaint | Bengaluru

Singer Lucky Ali filed a complaint with the Karnataka Lokayukta police against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri, her husband Sudhir Reddy and brother-in-law Madhusudan Reddy for allegedly hijacking his land on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Ali alleged that the bureaucrat used government resources and occupied the land illegally.

The case was registered at the Yelahanka New Town police station in the city. The issue of the farm land held in trust between the singer and a senior IAS officer has been going on for a long time. A few years ago, Lucky Ali took to social media and claimed that the local police were supporting the IAS officer and urged the higher officials to look into the matter. He also alleged that the ‘land mafia’ was conspiring to take over the farm illegally. The property is reportedly located in Kanchenahalli area of ​​Yelahanka.

The accused Rohini Sindhuri was earlier in the news for her public spat with another IPS officer, D Roopa. An activist from the Right To Information programme accused IPS officer D Roopa of sending him private pictures of Rohini Sindhuri, a day after the Karnataka government removed the two officers from their posts without any further releases for exchanging serious allegations.

In a Facebook post, Roopa listed 20 allegations against Sindhuri, including corruption. Roopa said Sindhuri had made allegations against former minister Sa Ra Mahesh but had not proven them.
