Calm Down singer Rema has to pay over Rs 25 crore for performing viral song at Anant Ambani Radhika Merchant’s wedding

Wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant: From Rihanna to Justin Bieber, several international artists performed at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding events. Now, “Calm Down” singer Rema has landed in India to grace their star-studded wedding in Mumbai.

According to Hindustan Times, the Nigerian rapper is demanding over Rs 25 crore to perform his viral song. Rema will be paid $3 million, or over Rs 25 crore, to sing “Calm Down” at the wedding. The singer has reportedly already arrived in India for the performance.

Calm Down singer Rema has landed in India

Last night, Rema took to Instagram to post a video of himself walking towards a privately chartered plane. His face was covered with a black cloth and he was wearing an all-black outfit. The singer played his latest hit Azaman as background music and posted an emoji of an Indian tricolor.

Apart from Rema, Despacito singer Louis Fonsi is also likely to perform at the event. Previously, a number of well-known singers have performed at various events. Indian rapper Badshah performed with singer Karan Aujla and the former charged Rs 40 million for his performance at the wedding. Canadian pop star Justin Bieber also reportedly received $10 million for his performance at the event.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will get married on July 12 at the Jio World Centre at Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC) in Mumbai. Guests from all over the world will attend the grand occasion. Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, futurist Peter Diamandis, former British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, artist Jeff Koons, self-help coach Jay Shetty, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt and former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, among many other prominent people will attend the wedding.
