Ghost release new song “The Future Is A Foreign Land” • TotalRock
What day is it today? It’s Friday! And ‘The future is a foreign country’, according to Ghost’s surprise drop today!
In the credits, with an accompanying video (not yet released), we can tell you that this is an unreleased third recording of Papa Nihil from 1969, when he led the short-lived band. This gives nothing away about the plot of the film. The future is a foreign country“has a contemporary 60’s sound, a bit psychedelic and a bit spaghetti. The narrative, fitting for the second summer of love, a love song from Papa Nihil to Mother Emperor, and speaks of world problems and peace.
As always, there are cryptic clues. What is the significance of the year 1984?
