Katy Perry has made an epic comeback to the music world with a new single titled “Woman’s World,” complete with a music video that was released alongside the hit on Friday.

Katy Perry, 39, is back and better than ever with her new hit Women’s worldwill be officially released worldwide on Friday 12th July – and we’ll be playing the song first on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden!

The Teenage dream, Roar And Dark Horse The hitmaker has been hinting at her comeback for months and now fans can finally enjoy not only the new song but also the iconic video that goes with it.

Women’s world does exactly what it says on the tin: it celebrates and empowers women, all with a catchy melody and poignant lyrics: “Celebrate, we’re not going away.”

Katy had described this song, which she co-wrote with Lu Kala, as “one of her biggest songs ever” in an interview at an American Idol event earlier this year.

In the music video, Katy transforms into Rosie the Riveter, a feminist icon who represented women working in factories during World War II.

The song and video come four years after Katy’s last album. Smilewhich was released in 2020 and included hits like Never really over And daisy.

Women’s world is the first single from her new album, 143whose release is expected later this year.

Katy Perry first attracted attention in 2008 with the release of her album One of the boyswhich gave us hits like I kissed a girl, Thinking of you, Hot and cold And Waking up in Vegas.
