Big Ten Media Days: Which Michigan players will participate?

The Big Ten Media Days will take place in less than two weeks. 18 coaches and 54 players will meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from July 23 to 25 to give an outlook on the upcoming season.

Each school will send three student-athlete representatives to the event. While many of the West Coast newcomers, like USC and Oregon, will draw a lot of attention, defending champion Michigan will headline media day.

It is rare for a defending champion to have a new head coach, but after Jim Harbaugh left Ann Arbor and joined the LA Chargers, Sherron Moore will be on the podium in Indy. We now know who will accompany him in Indy: RB Donovan EdwardsSecurity Paige, Makari and TE/FB Max Bredeson.

Edwards played a standout game in the national championship, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns in Big Blue’s 34-13 victory over Washington.

Paige received two consecutive All-Big Ten honorable mentions and started 13 games during last season’s 15-0 run to the national title.

Bredeson has made four starts and is expected to play a key role in the Wolverines’ offense this season.
