The success of the Garfield film is a good argument against Chris Pratt’s vocal fatigue

The Garfield Movie had a long road to cinemas, but one of the biggest talking points before the film’s release was the announcement in 2021 that Chris Pratt would lend his voice to the iconic cat. In addition to the film’s box office success, Davis’ (and Dindal’s) blessing is a huge win in and of itself.

Although Pratt’s casting in the roles of Mario and Garfield caused a stir on the Internet, the reaction died down after the release of each film. The Garfield Movie‘s ending keeps the door open for future stories and The Super Mario Bros. Movie2 It will be interesting to see how audiences react to Pratt’s return. In either case, a sequel has a good chance of building on the success of the first part.
