Gracie Abrams teams up with Taylor Swift for new song “Us”

Gracie Abrams has teamed up with Taylor Swift for her new song “Us.”

Gracie has released her new 13-track album, The Secret of Us, which features her collaboration with the music superstar titled “Us.”

The collaboration comes shortly after Gracie supported Taylor on the North American leg of her sold-out Eras tour last year.

“Us” was co-written by the two singers and produced by Taylor’s regular collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner.

In the song, Gracie and Taylor sing: “I know you know/ It felt like something old / It felt like something sacred, like bleeding souls / So it felt like what I know/ You’re twenty-nine years old / So how can you be cold when I open my house?”

There was speculation on social media that the song was about Gracie’s alleged ex-boyfriend Dylan O’Brien, but this has not been confirmed.

In a new interview with Billboard, Aaron raved about the two hitmakers.

“It’s just been fun to watch the chemistry between Gracie and Taylor,” he said. “Gracie is completely amazed and awed when she sees Taylor recording and producing her vocal performances and building the world.”

The producer added that the collaboration brought “everything” about the 24-year-old’s new album “into focus in a beautiful way.”

“The Secret of Us,” Gracie’s second album, follows her debut “Good Riddance,” which was released in February last year.
