Jee Young Han is promoted to regular actor for season 2 of “UnPrisoned”

EXCLUSIVE: Jee Young Han, who appeared in season 1 of Without prison, has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming second season of Onyx Collective’s dramedy, which stars and executive produces Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo.

Hans Esti is Paige’s (Washington) foster sister who was adopted by Paige’s foster parents from a Korean orphanage at the age of 4. She appeared in six episodes in the first season.

Inspired by the life of creator Tracy McMillan, Without prison follows chaotic but perfectionistic relationship therapist, social media influencer and single mother Paige Alexander (Washington), whose life is turned upside down when her father Edwin Alexander (Lindo) gets out of prison and moves in with her and their teenage son.

The series is executive produced by McMillan, Yvette Lee Bowser and Washington along with Pilar Savone through their production company Simpson Street and Lindo. Joy Gorman Wettels and Jen Braeden also serve as executive producers.

Hans’ other engagements include a frequently recurring role in Perry Mason. She also stars opposite Anderson .Paak in K-POPS, a gala screening at this year’s Toronto Film Festival. She is represented by Innovative Artists and Ziffren Brittenham.
