Love Island USA becomes the most watched reality show on streaming as season 6 doubles the reach of previous seasons

Love Island USA Season 6 is taking the world by storm, establishing the American version of the reality franchise as must-see cult reality TV—and the numbers reflect that.

According to Peacock, season six is the No. 1 reality series in the U.S. across all streaming platforms, according to preliminary Nielsen data (P2+ minutes watched) for June 24-30. Season 6 has also been in the top 10 SVOD original series since its debut on June 10.

It became Peacock’s “most watched and most talked about series by minutes watched and volume of social conversations,” with streaming reach “double that of previous seasons.”

Hosted by Ariana Madix and narrated by Iain Stirling, the series is filmed in real time from Fiji and airs new episodes every day (except Wednesdays) at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Here is the official description:

Peacock Original LOVE ISLAND USA features a group of sexy singles looking for love in a beautiful villa in Fiji. During their stay in a tropical oasis, the islanders will band together and face brand new, heart-wrenching challenges and bigger twists than ever before. Temptations increase and drama ensues as new “bombshells” emerge, forcing the islanders to decide whether to stay with their current partners or hook up with someone new.

The finale will be broadcast on July 21st.
