Today is the day.

Bring your friends and reading buddies to our Friends of the Library Summer Book Flea Market at our convenient downtown location, Community United Methodist Church at 434 Lewis St.

The book sale begins Thursday, July 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with an early purchase and potluck dinner for Friends of the Library members. Bring a dish to share and enjoy the members-only early purchase. Members receive a special “two for one” offer.

Opening hours to the public are Friday from 9am to 3pm and Saturday from 9am to 12pm. Come early to get the best deals.

Whatever your interests – history, philosophy, humor, crime novels or the perfect book for your child – the Friends of the Library Summer Book Flea Market has exactly what you need.

Not a Friend of the Library yet? Friend membership includes benefits such as early access to book sales, a monthly book giveaway, fundraisers to support the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library
Foundation and Friends building campaign, a community of like-minded readers, and more. All proceeds benefit the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library.

Annual membership is $15 for individuals or $25 per family. Lifetime membership is $150. Pay at the library or at the book yard sale. Cash or credit cards are accepted.
