Bill O’Reilly and Chris Cuomo engage in heated Biden debate

Chris Cuomo And Bill O’Reilly got into a heated exchange on NewsNation on Wednesday night, with O’Reilly repeatedly accusing Cuomo of “misquoting” him regarding the president’s condition. Joe Biden’s Campaign.

O’Reilly began the interview by accusing Cuomo of misquoting him after the NewsNation host said O’Reilly had predicted that Biden was now “out of the race.”

“I didn’t say he was out of the race. That’s not true,” O’Reilly said.

“Really?” Cuomo asked, surprised.

“I said the Democratic leaders had decided that Joe had to go. That’s absolutely true,” O’Reilly said.

O’Reilly called Barack Obama And Ron Klain as the party’s two most important “chiefs” working behind the scenes to oust Biden from office, a theory Cuomo rejected.

O’Reilly predicted last month after Biden’s CNN debate against Donald Trump that the decision to push him out of the race had “been made.” A post on X (formerly Twitter) making that claim was provided with additional “context” by X, saying there was “no evidence to support that claim.” O’Reilly said in his posts that there was no timeframe for Biden’s exit from the race.

Biden has so far insisted that he is staying in the race and that he is the Democrats&

#8217; best chance to defeat the former president Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, O’Reilly called Biden’s Thursday night “press conference” a defining moment and said if he messed it up, he would have to “resign.”

Cuomo came down harder on O’Reilly after he accused the media of “covering” Biden’s health and other issues, including his son’s infamous laptop. Hunter Biden.

“If you think the media has been covering Biden, you haven’t been watching television in the last week,” Cuomo said, referring to the extensive coverage of Biden’s faltering campaign and reports of concerns about his health.

O’Reilly argued that a Democratic donor like George Clooney does not write an editorial saying that Biden needs to drop out of the race without consulting others like Obama and Klain. Cuomo completely rejected that opinion.

“The idea that Ron Klain is the leader of the Democratic Party is ridiculously absurd,” Cuomo said, calling the former White House chief of staff ineffective.

“I didn’t say he was the chairman of the Democratic Party,” O’Reilly replied.

“Yes, you did. You said he was the second most powerful person in the Democratic Party,” Cuomo said.

“You know, Cuomo, listen, I’m a little annoyed right now. Stop

“You misquoted me! You’re better than that, so stop it!” said an angry O’Reilly.

O’Reilly accused Cuomo of not telling the audience the truth by “misquoting” him, saying he had referred to Klain as one of the party’s most important “chiefs.”

“A name: David Axelrod. Do you think Axelrod is going to go on CNN and say Biden has to go without Obama’s approval?” he asked.

“Yes,” Cuomo said.

“Are you that stupid? Are you that stupid?!” asked O’Reilly.

“Yes,” Cuomo repeated.

“Okay, let’s go,” O’Reilly said, throwing his hands in the air.

“David Axelrod says a lot of things without Obama’s approval. You don’t know David Axelrod enough to know the answer to that question. I can call him right now. That’s the difference. But you can get hot, Bill –” Cuomo said before O’Reilly briefly intervened.

“And they’re going to tell you the truth?” he asked, as Cuomo summed up his point that O’Reilly was “hot” on the subject.

“- usually it’s a sign of insecurity in a position, just by the way,” he said.
