Travis Kelce reveals how much Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl suite cost

Travis Kelce has spoken openly about how much the suite that hosted his girlfriend and her loved ones during the Super Bowl cost him.

During an episode of the Netflix documentary series Recipientwhich follows various NFL receivers throughout the 2023 football season, San Francisco 49ers receiver George Kittle spoke with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end about how expensive Super Bowl tickets are before their two teams competed for the trophy in February.

Kittle had revealed to Kelce at the time that he planned to have his loved ones sit in the regular stands when Travis intervened to talk about the price of a private box for the big game.

“That’s three million fucking dollars,” he said.

The 49ers player currently makes $15 million per season, but said he won’t pay for the private box despite his “good contract.” “It’s just like, ‘You guys are going to be OK,'” Kittle said of his family’s spot in the stands.

He did, however, mention that the team’s running back, Christian McCaffrey, was able to get a “good deal” for his private box. Previously, McCaffrey’s mother Lisa and his now-wife Olivia Culpo admitted that they “were looking for a suite for the Super Bowl” but “couldn’t afford it.”

“We looked at a suite, but none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, the moneybags over there,” his mother said on the Your mother Podcast. “Neither are the moneybags Olivia,” she added, referring to Culpo. “So we’re not in a suite. I’ll tell you that right now.”

The 32-year-old model revealed to her mother-in-law that she had bought a suite for herself and Lisa before the big game. “@lisamccaffrey fake news! Happy birthday Lisa, I bought you a suite,” Culpo posted on her Instagram story.

Even Kelce’s mother Donna was convinced before the Super Bowl that she would also sit in the stands because the private suites are so expensive. “You can understand that the boxes in Vegas cost several million dollars, so I feel like I’m not sitting in a box,” Donna said in an interview with Today.

“I feel like I’m in the stands. As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everyone else because it’s an expensive Super Bowl.”

It was later revealed that Kelce had probably decided to buy the suite anyway, as he revealed in an episode of his New heights Podcast. Before the game, he joked that he prepared for the game by thinking about “losing all this money.”

“I don’t really do much differently other than just counting how much money I spend on this damn Super Bowl so family and friends can come,” he said at the time.

Despite the expense of the suite, the Chiefs managed to win the game after scoring a touchdown in overtime, making it the second time in Super Bowl history that the game went into overtime.

After the team’s victory, Swift walked onto the field alongside Kelce’s mother. After Travis stood to accept the trophy and cheer with the crowd, he walked back onto the field to join his mother and Swift, where he hugged and kissed the singer.

“Come here, girl,” Travis was heard saying to Swift before giving her a big hug.
