Babehoven
Babehoven’s intimate, playful and casual slowcore-inspired folk is exactly what Real Love is made for, and it would be a huge mistake to miss the duo’s Friday night show. Featuring songs from this year’s beautiful Water is here in youThe couple’s performance will surely enchant you.

Jennifer Castle
Castle has been largely out of the spotlight in recent years, which is why it was so exciting to receive “Blowing Kisses,” the beautiful, swirling ballad that Castle contributed to The bearThe soundtrack to season three. Castle’s performance is always worth seeing, but her appearance on Real Love may promise even more new music.

jamboree
Jamboree, one of Winnipeg’s most exciting up-and-coming bands, recently followed up their 2022 sophomore album Life in the dome with this year’s Summerlandan expansion of their sound and a deepening of their rich conceptual songwriting. The band’s on-stage interplay easily rivals their studio magic and they are a safe bet for Friday night.

Hut Hut
Winnipeg legends and art-rock wizards Hut Hut have not released any new music since the convulsive, strangely beautiful year of 2020 hut hut hutso they are even more of a must-see than usual – the potential for new songs (or just some good oldies) should not be underestimated, and the band knows how to put on a show. Hats off, hats off, hats off!

Virgo in the Ascendant
The newly minted local heroes Virgo Rising are constantly evolving, but always remain unmistakably themselves. They give their thoughtful rock songs a spindly art-folk tension and treat the cosmos and the little things in life equally. They released their second EP Vampire Year in 2023 – don’t miss your chance to hear “Nail Biter” live.
