Chris Hemsworth lived up to his status as superhero Thor as he showed off his huge biceps after a workout with Elsa Pataky in Madrid on Thursday.
The 40-year-old actor, who works out for 90 minutes five days a week, maintained his rigorous fitness regimen during their visit to Elsa’s hometown.
Chris’ muscular arms were hard to miss as he stepped out in a tight black tank top after his strenuous workout at the gym.
The Hollywood star and Spanish model Elsa, 47, appeared in love as they walked hand in hand through the city.
The couple that India Rose, 12, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, 9, seemed to be making the most of his time off from parental duties.
Elsa showcased her model legs in tiny black hot pants, which she combined with an anthracite T-shirt and a Loewe sports bag.
At some point during their walk, Chris caught the attention of three female fans and stopped to take a selfie with them.
Chris and Elsa got married over the Christmas holidays in 2010.
The couple live in a $30 million mansion near Byron Bay after moving to Australia from Los Angeles nine years ago.
In 2021, Elsa revealed that she and Chris have a simple trick to keep their marriage happy and healthy: laughter.
Speaking to Hola! magazine, she said that the Thor actor has the gift of defusing any argument with a joke.
“We like to do the same things and Chris has a great sense of humor and knows how to take the fear out of things,” she said.
Last month, Chris revealed the heartbreaking reason he got into acting and why he believes the career that has brought him fame and fortune is slowly “killing” him.
The “Thor” star made a shocking admission in an episode of the Disney+ reality series Limitless, admitting that his career choice was due to a difficult childhood.
“If I’m being completely honest, I started acting to get my parents out of debt. It could have killed me. When I started acting, my parents had very little money,” he began.

“When I talked to my father about when he would finally be able to pay off the bank debt and he said, ‘Never, we’ll die paying it off,’ that really bothered me from a young age.”
Although his net worth is more than A$220 million, Chris admitted that he still suffers from unresolved “stress” due to his difficult childhood – and said that this can influence his choice of projects.
“What really scares me and causes me stress is when I try to take care of too many things, too many projects.”
“I still have these thoughts that if I don’t say yes to these things, everything will go away. I still feel the stress eating away at me, and I don’t want it to dictate my life.”
