AnalogFolk appoints Taylor Handsley as Head of Social

AnalogFolk, the global, independent, digital-focused creative agency dedicated to improving the analog world through digital and a pioneer in creative innovation, announces the appointment of Taylor Handsley as Head of Social Media to lead the social media practice and expand the agency’s social media offering for its clients.

The hire underscores AnalogFolk’s passion and commitment to helping brands become more culturally vibrant and digitally culturally relevant. AnalogFolk has built a social practice with proprietary tools that help brands understand what is most valued by communities, their customs, rituals and behaviors. Taylor will play a central role in embedding AnalogFolk’s “Open Ideas” approach into every aspect of the agency’s social-first work for clients.

AnalogFolk’s work with the world’s most iconic brands has redefined digital storytelling, creating meaningful, immersive experiences that resonate with audiences. With its “Open Ideas” approach, the agency helps brands engage more openly with culture so they can play a more relevant and meaningful role in people’s lives.

Notably, this has been done in collaboration with Bayer Consumer Health on the shows “Vagina Academy/The Truth Undressed” and “Flintstones Vitamins”, for Nike on “Magic is in the Air” and with Costa Coffee, where the show collaborated with its cohort audience to develop ideas and bring them to life.

Taylor joins the team in Europe and brings twenty years of experience in building brands on social networks and building loyal, sustainable and engaged audiences.

She is an award-winning social media marketer with autism who has worked with brands such as Amazon Fashion, Refinery29, Crocs Europe, Semrush and JBL. Originally from the US, she has worked extensively in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France, developing social and influencer strategies for brands in EMEA, APAC and the US. Her work has been recognised with numerous European Content Awards, Drum Awards and Webby’s.

She is also an active advocate for supporting neurodiverse people in the workplace and has participated in panels with Soho House, SheSays and The Diversity Collective.

Reporting directly to Matt Dyke, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder of AnalogFolk Group, Taylor works with various AnalogFolk divisions in Europe and the US, as well as its sister companies including MindWorks (digital transformation consultancy), Untold Fable (content production), With Robots (a technology and automation partner) and Otomo (content automation), driving AnalogFolk’s innovative approach to emerging social platforms, new formats, trends, cultural movements, behaviours, communities and developers, ensuring clients stay ahead by effectively leveraging these dynamic elements.
