The Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies meet in the final of their four-game series on Thursday afternoon at Great American Ballpark.
Hunter Greene will get the ball for the Reds. Greene was named to the 2024 National League All-Star team for the first time in his career on Tuesday.
Greene has had a fantastic season, starting 18 times, posting a 3.45 ERA and 116 strikeouts in 104 1/3 innings pitched.
Greene is coming off one of his best starts of the season. On Saturday against the Tigers, he threw seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and two walks. He managed seven strikeouts.
Austin Gomber will get the ball for the Rockies. Gomber has a 4.47 ERA in 94 2/3 innings pitched this season.
Last time out, he delivered a masterpiece, giving up one run in seven innings in a 3-1 win over the Kansas City Royals, striking out three players and not walking a single batter.
Game four begins Thursday afternoon at 1:10 p.m. ET.
