Pasadena Villa Outpatient expands mental health treatment services to Michigan with new Troy clinic

BRENTWOOD, TN / ACCESSWIRE / July 11, 2024 / Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a leading provider of mental health treatment services, is proud to announce the opening of its new Pasadena Villa Outpatient location in Troy, Michigan. The facility was developed in response to the unmet demand for world-class mental health treatment services and complements Odyssey’s growing network of Pasadena Villa Outpatient locations in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Mental illness affects millions of people nationwide. Recent data from the National Alliance on Mental Illness indicate that in Michigan:

  • Approximately 1.5 million adults have a mental illness and over 350,000 adults suffer from a serious mental illness.

  • Nearly 40% of adults reported symptoms of anxiety or depression and 27% were unable to receive needed counseling or therapy.

  • Over 40% of people live in a community without adequate mental health professionals.

“There is a growing need for high-quality outpatient mental health services in the Michigan region,” said Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey. “Odyssey’s expansion into Michigan furthers our mission to provide accessible, personalized treatment options to more people in need nationwide, and we are proud to help the Troy community meet that need.”

The clinic offers a day-care program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults with mental health disorders of any gender (ages 18 and older), allowing patients to move seamlessly between the different levels of treatment as needed throughout their recovery process. Each patient’s treatment is supported by close collaboration with community providers throughout treatment.
