The IndyCar Series offers double the excitement this weekend with two races on the 1.44-kilometer Iowa Speedway Tri-Oval. The 250-lap (360-kilometer) races take place on Saturday evening and Sunday.
Josef Newgarden has won three races in a row at this track, taking the 2023 doubleheader. The two-time Indianapolis 500 champion has six Iowa victories in his career.
Alex Palou holds a comfortable lead in the 2024 championship standings after finishing second to Pato O’Ward last weekend at Mid-Ohio.

Where is the IndyCar race in Iowa?
Iowa Speedway is located in Newton off Interstate 80, about 35 miles east of Des Moines and about 85 miles west of Iowa City.
Concerts by Luke Combs, Eric Church, Post Malone and Kelsea Ballerini at the Iowa Speedway
Luke Combs will appear before Saturday’s IndyCar Series race at Iowa Speedway. Eric Church will appear after the race at 8 p.m. ET.
Post Malone and Kelsea Ballerini will perform after Sunday’s IndyCar Series race at Iowa Speedway. The race is scheduled to conclude around 3:30 p.m. ET.
