Little Falls Public Library presents a series of community concerts

The Little Falls Public Library hosts a series of community concerts, sponsored by the Central New York Community Arts Council, on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. in Eastern Park.

The series features a diverse range of musical performances from area musicians, from cabaret to Dixieland, and offers community residents the opportunity to once again enjoy what was once an annual summer tradition, the Wednesday night band concert.

Julia Yardley, Executive Director of the Library, stated, “The Library is very fortunate to be able to host a concert series in Eastern Park thanks to the Central New York Community Arts Council. We believe this concert series brings the community even closer together while promoting diversity in the arts. We are always looking for new ways to engage the community and I think this is an excellent way to do that!”

The planned dates and performances are as follows:

  • July 17: Eddie Rose & Friends – “The Magic of Film Music: A Cabaret Celebration of Cinema.”
  • 25 July BarRoom Neon Project
  • July 31 Anthony LaBarbera
  • 14 August Dolgeville Community Band
  • 28 August Helen’s Dixilanders

All performances are free and open to the public. This project is made possible by the CNY Arts Regrant program, thanks to an initiative of the New York Senate, supported by the NYS Legislature and the Governor’s Office, and administered by the New York State Council on the Arts.
