Chris Pratt and John Owen Lowe were photographed working out at a gym in Santa Barbara, California on Wednesday.

Pratt, 45, and Lowe, 29, the youngest son of actor Rob Lowe, 60, donned casual sportswear as they headed to work on the summer day in the luxury city, which is about 95 miles west of downtown Los Angeles.

The Minnesota native wore a black V-neck shirt, light gray shorts and black sneakers.

The lead actor of “Guardians of the Galaxy” rounded off his ensemble with a wristwatch and a black baseball cap and kept a metal bottle nearby to ensure he was adequately hydrated.

Lowe, who is working with his father on the Netflix comedy “Unstable,” wore a white cap over his wavy brown locks as he was seen lifting dumbbells during his daytime workout.

On June 23, Pratt posted on Instagram a shot from the golf course during a day out with Rob, John Owen and 45-year-old Good Charlotte artist Benji Madden.

Pratt captioned the shot, which shows all four men smoking cigars, “A day well spent.”

The friendship between Pratt and the Lowe family dates back to when Pratt and Rob appeared on the NBC series “Parks and Recreation.”

Pratt played the role of Andy Dwyer in 116 episodes of the series, while Rob played the role of Chris Traeger in 76 episodes.

The popular comedy, which aired for seven seasons from 2009 to 2015, also starred Amy Poehler, Jim O’Heir, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Rashida Jones and Adam Scott.

Rob spoke to E! News last month about the cast’s continued camaraderie, more than a decade after the show ended.

“Everyone on this show has just been consistently great,” said Rob. “Ensembles can be difficult and this ensemble was and remains heaven on earth.”

“I’m playing golf with Pratt next week. I saw Amy at my 60th birthday and she looks better than ever and is always great. I just saw Nick two weeks ago.”

Rob and John Owen Lowe play father and son Ellis and Jackson Dragon in the streaming series Unstable, which they created together with Victor Fresco.

In an interview with E! News, Rob said that aspects of the show reflect their real-life relationship, including their competitive nature.

John Owen has written a scene for the upcoming season of the show that includes a tennis match and showcases this aspect of their relationship, his father told the broadcaster.

“I would say almost everything in it is either a literal recreation,” Rob said. “Or he takes the germ of something he thinks happened and then blows it up.”

Rob is also father to businessman Matthew Edward Lowe, 30, and his wife Sheryl Berkoff, 63.

Pratt is expecting his third child with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, 34. The couple have daughters Lyla Maria, 3, and Eloise Christina, 2. He also has 11-year-old son Jack Pratt from his previous marriage to actress Anna Faris, 47.

Unstable season 2 begins streaming on Netflix on August 1.
