Travis Kelce shocked by price of Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl suite

Travis Kelce’s bill for Taylor Swift and her family for the 2024 Super Bowl was not cheap.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end said in a conversation with George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers in an episode of the Netflix series “Receiver,” which premiered on Wednesday, that the private box would come with a hefty price tag.

“That’s three million damn dollars,” Kelce said.

Kittle apparently concluded that the number was too high to pull the trigger.

“It’s just like they’re saying, ‘You’re going to be OK,'” Kittle said of his family.

In the days leading up to the big game, Kelce joked on his podcast “New Heights” that he was “counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl, having family and friends come” and “just making sure I get these finances under control and lose all this money.”

TMZ reported at the time that the 34-year-old would take care of the bill for his fan suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Kelce purchased the suite at the last minute after his mother, Donna Kelce, floated the possibility of sitting in the stands at the “Today” show the Wednesday before the Super Bowl.

“Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas cost millions of dollars, so I feel like I’m not sitting in a box,” she said. “I feel like I’m sitting in the stands. … As far as I know, I’m sitting in the stands with everyone else because it’s an expensive Super Bowl.”

While Kelce spent a lot of money on the expensive suit, one player was able to get a suit at a bargain price, according to the two tight ends.

Christian McCaffrey, Kittle said, received a “good offer” for a suite for his current wife Olivia Culpo and her family.

However, Kelce’s expensive buildup did not lack star talent.

Swift and Donna were joined by a long list of A-list celebrities, including Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Keleigh Teller, who is married to actor Miles Teller, model Cara Delevingne and Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany.
