The Assassin’s Creed Shadows voiceover challenge lets you lend your voice to an NPC in the game

Players will experience the intertwined stories of Naoe, a skilled shinobi assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, the mighty samurai of historical legend. Discover their personal stories, meet important historical figures, and shape the duo’s shared destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan.

As Naoe and Yasuke, players can master two complementary playstyles, with each character having their own development paths, skills, weapon options, and stats. Whether using Naoe’s stealth abilities or Yasuke’s combat prowess, players have many ways to accomplish their goals. With Naoe, they experience sophisticated infiltration mechanics that utilize light, noise, shadows, and changing environments to evade detection by enemies. With Yasuke, they can take on larger groups of enemies with brutal precision.

The game lets players explore a vast open world with a variety of landscapes that change depending on the weather and season. From spectacular castle towns and bustling ports to peaceful shrines and idyllic landscapes, feudal Japan comes to life with unprecedented dynamism, built from the ground up using the latest version of the Anvil engine and the power of new generation consoles.

During this difficult time, intelligence is key to success and will be at the heart of the new exploration mechanics. Players will build their own spy network to open up new areas and hunt down targets. Additionally, allies with highly specialized skills and abilities can be recruited to assist in missions. By creating their own customizable hideout, players can expand their network and train their new crew. From base building and layout to decorations and accessories, they can create a unique place to call home.

This unique competition gives players the opportunity to voice iconic scenes from the Assassin’s Creed series, and winners will get to voice a non-playable character in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, releasing on November 15, 2024.

To enter the contest, players must select one of the scenes posted on Assassin’s Creed or local Ubisoft channels, create a duet with the video using the duet feature on Tiktok, and share it on their profile with the hashtag #AssassinsCreedDubbingChallenge.

The best performers will be invited to London for a recording session animated by a professional voice actor to become the voice of a character in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and learn more about the fascinating work of voice actors.

The Dubbin Challenge runs from June 18th to July 2nd and the winners will be announced shortly after the end. There are several scenes available to dub and the competition is offered in 7 different languages ​​(English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese).

To participate in the competition you must follow these steps:

You can participate as many times as you like. Ubisoft will then select the best performer for each language. The selection criteria is solely performance, the number of likes and comments has no influence.
