Only one took the stage, but three pop stars were present at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Sydney in February. And while they were featured in the latest episode of The Tonight Show On Tuesday (July 9), Rita Ora had nothing but good things to say about the concert, which she watched from a VIP tent with Katy Perry.

“The pop girls really came together there,” the “I Will Never Let You Down” singer told host Jimmy Fallon about her experience and called Perry her “buddy.”

“We were in Australia and we both had different jobs and of course everyone in the world was watching the Eras tour,” Ora continued of the “Firework” singer. “So I went and just wanted to hang out. It was really cool because I saw her for the first time in ages and she’s making music and everyone’s just doing their own thing.”

After the show, the singer posted a backstage photo with the “Anti-Hero” singer, as well as images of her snuggling up to Perry at Accor Stadium. She also shared a snap with Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who flashed a big smile while posing with an arm around Ora’s shoulder.

“I guess it’s safe to say Sydney 🇦🇺 always delivers – or let’s say our TayTay @taylorswift always delivers!” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Thank you for having us! My heart melted when I saw my KP @katyperry 🥹, too many queens to count!”

The Descendants – The Rise of Red The star was also joined by her husband Taika Waititi at the Eras show, and the director was also seen in Ora’s photo with Swift. The couple married in August 2022, although they didn’t announce their wedding until their anniversary next year.

On the Tonight ShowOra said her intimate ceremony in Los Angeles was quite spontaneous. Even her Elvis impersonator was a total surprise. The star said she “didn’t ask” for him to be there.

“There was no plan,” she told Fallon. “I got married spontaneously and it was so much fun… The first song (the impersonator) sang was ‘I’m Trapped.’ I was like, ‘Is this how we want to start?'”
