Green Bay Packers playmaker named player of the year 2024

Green Bay Packers playmaker named player of the year 2024

The Green Bay Packers enter the 2024 season as one of the most promising teams in the NFC. The Packers exceeded expectations set before the 2023 season, winning a playoff game and making it to the Divisional Round.

Green Bay has a very talented offense led by young quarterback Jordan Love.

Love had a great first year as a starter after replacing Aaron Rodgers, completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The 25-year-old quarterback experienced ups and downs in his first year as a starter, but ultimately led the Packers to a surprise victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round.

In addition to Love, Green Bay has plenty of talented young playmakers on offense.

The Packers have Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Bo Melton and Dontayvion Wicks at receiver. They also have two young, talented tight ends, Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft.

Green Bay brought back AJ Dillon and signed Josh Jacobs and MarShawn Lloyd as running backs.

This offense is extremely talented and has the potential to make another leap since all of their players are young.

With that in mind, let’s now turn our attention to the question of which Packers playmaker was named the most valuable player in Fantasy Football for the 2024 season.

Packers playmaker with WR1 potential

Bleacher Report has named Christian Watson the top-value playmaker for the 2024 fantasy football season.

Watson has shown in his first two seasons that he is a top-notch receiver. However, Watson has struggled with injuries that have kept him off the field.

In nine games of the 2023 season, Watson had 28 pass catches for 422 yards and five touchdowns.

With Love feeling more comfortable on offense in his second year as a starter and Watson healthy, the two could form an elite tandem.

Watson is a speedy wide receiver who demonstrated his ability to make big plays early in his career.

The 25-year-old believes the hamstring injuries may be behind him after discovering the underlying cause during a visit to the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Given the positive news about Watson’s health, fantasy owners should be more confident drafting him. With an ADP of WR44, he could be a steal and breakout as an elite receiver in 2024.
