“We party until death.” 🍷 Let’s Dance! Netflix has released the full official trailer for its raunchy new series called The Decameroncreated by television writer Kathleen Jordan. The raunchy and crass series is loosely inspired by the 14th century story collection The Decameronand is described as a kitschy black comedy. When the Black Death struck Italy in 1348A handful of nobles and their servants retreat to a stately villa. But what begins as a wine-soaked night of sex turns into a race for survival… The series explores the all-too-timely theme of class struggles in the time of a pandemic (of course), as a group of outsiders try to survive the bubonic plague pandemic in Florence in 1348. The Decameron Stars Tony Hale (with long hair and beard!), Zosia Mamet, Saoirse Monica Jackson, Tanya Reynolds, Karan Gill, Lou Gala, Douggie McMeekin, Jessica Plummerand many others. “You are invited to the party of 14th Century” – a wine-soaked sex adventure in the Italian countryside. It looks absurd and kind of funny, but maybe not funny enough (or clever enough) to last longer than one season. What You think?
