Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” premieres in November and first pictures

Paramount+ has set the premiere date of the series at Landmanthe next series of Yellowstone Creator Taylor Sheridan, which stars Billy Bob Thornton, has released the first official photo featuring Thornton and his co-stars Ali Larter, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Michael Pena, Jacob Lofland, James Jordan and Mark Collie…

Landman is set in Texas and follows the booming oil industry. Thorton plays Tommy Norris, a crisis manager for an oil company. The series will premiere on November 17th with two episodes, with a new episode following each week. The current synopsis is:

Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, the series tells a modern-day story about the quest for wealth in the world of oil rigs. Based on the remarkable 11-episode podcast “Boomtown,” the series tells an up-and-down story about gangsters and wild billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s changing our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.

Landman will be broadcast one week after the last season of Sheridan’s Yellowstone begins and ensures that audiences get a double dose of Sheridan’s world every week.
