How and where to watch FIA WEC action from Brazil?

Round five of the 2024 FIA WEC season kicks off later this week at Interlagos in São Paulo, Brazil. Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch the race!

The action from Free Practice 3 on Saturday (13 July) can be followed live on the FIA ​​WEC YouTube channel. For 8.99 euros, all the racing action is also available via the official FIA WEC app (more info below).

SOUTH AMERICA

For Brazilian residents unable to attend the race in person, Band will broadcast most of the action live and in free-to-air format in Brazil.

The agreement provides for the race to be broadcast on FTA Band, as well as on the pay-TV channel BandSports, the digital platform Bandplay, on YouTube (with live coverage of the entire race) and on Grande Premio.

DirecTV Sports broadcasts the WEC on its DSports Motor channel in Central and South America and the Caribbean (except Mexico and Brazil).

Fox Sports owns the rights in Mexico and will broadcast the free practice, qualifying and the entire race live on Fox Sports 2.

EUROPE

Eurosport platforms will broadcast WEC action across Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, and will show the full race on Sunday (16:00 – 23:30 CEST) on Eurosport 2. FP3, qualifying and the race will be available on Eurosport’s digital platforms (Eurosport Player or Discovery+, depending on territory) as well as on Max.

Free-to-air La Chaine L’Equipe will broadcast the race live for fans residing in France. The entire race will also be shown on L’Equipe.FR (17:30 – 00:30 CEST). In Germany, parts of the race will be broadcast live on Sport1 (live from 20:15 – 22:45) and the entire race will be broadcast on Eurosport. In Italy, fans can tune in live via Sky Sport Arena.

USA + CANADA

For American fans, the MAX digital platform will broadcast FP3, qualifying and the entire race live. Through MAX’s B/R Sports add-on, WEC live and on-demand coverage benefits from comprehensive production 30 minutes before and after races, including a dedicated pit reporter to bring viewers closer to the action.

In addition to MAX, the TV channel MotorTrend will also broadcast the race live in the USA (10:00 – 11:30; 15:30 – 17:00).

In Canada, fans can tune in via Discovery Velocity (the entire race live from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

ASIA + AUSTRALIA

As part of a pan-Asian TV deal with Eurosport for the Asian continent, the race from Interlagos will be broadcast on Eurosport Asia, which includes India.

In Japan, the entire race will be broadcast live on J Sports 3, while online channel StanSport will broadcast the WEC in Australia. Online platform Doujin will cover the race in China.

AFRICA

Long-time WEC broadcast partner SuperSport will broadcast the race for residents of sub-Saharan Africa.

OFFICIAL FIA WEC APP

FIAWEC.TV will broadcast the WEC race from Brazil live on its online platform. This is available worldwide. Individual race packages can be purchased for 8.99 euros. The app features qualifying sessions, race replays and full English commentary from experts Anthony Davidson, Martin Haven, Graham Goodwin and pit lane reporter Bruce Jouanny.
