On July 10, Korean media outlet Edaily reported that MC Oh Eun Young sent a “love call” to BTS’ Jin. She wants him to appear as a voice artist on her variety show Heartbeat Lecturers (also known as The Lecturers).

She made the invitation extra special by saying that she would treat the K-pop idol to a delicious meal if he came to the show. Will Jin accept her invitation? Fans hope so.

Heartbeat Lecturers is an MBC variety show that premieres on July 12 at 9:40pm KST. The program is hosted by seven passionate lecturers, all of whom are established in their respective fields.

Well-known child psychiatrist Dr. Oh Eun Young will be one of the hosts of this entertainment program. Also present are popular presenter Jang Do Yeon, lawyer Han Moon Cheol, presenter Park Myung Soo, documentary filmmaker Kim Young Mi, well-known TV star Seol Min Seok and monk Geumgang.

Meanwhile, Jin has been quite busy with his solo activities. After being discharged from military service on June 12, the BTS member attended a personal hugging event for fans to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the group’s debut on June 13.

On the other hand, he is ready to appear in his first big screen project upon his return. The astronaut singer has already completed filming his episodes for MBC’s variety show The Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island.

BTS agency HYBE also confirmed that Jin will be the torchbearer for South Korea at the upcoming Paris Olympics. In addition, he recently joined a Paris-based jewelry brand as its first global ambassador.

He also confirmed that he has been working on his second solo album and the release of the second verse of “Super Tuna.”
