Chris Paul introduces himself in San Antonio

Chris Paul introduces himself in San Antonio

Happy Wednesday, Por Vida fans! Welcome to your morning Spurs Starter.

As the San Antonio Spurs prepare for another season with 7-foot-4 rookie Victor Wembanyama, they will have to make some adjustments.

The main question at first was whether they would improve in the offseason or through the draft, but as it turns out, they did both. Stephon Castle was the first move, and Chris Paul followed, creating a strong rookie-veteran duo that could help the young team in the long run.

But first, Paul has to get to know the others a little. And that’s what he does.

“What’s up, Spurs fans,” the point guard said in a short video after signing with the team. “I just wanted to let you know how excited I am to come to San Antonio. I never thought in a million years I would get the chance to play for Pop, but I’m so excited.”

“I can’t wait to get to work and see what we can do.”
