Taylor Swift honors the 113th Eras tour with 4 “favorite songs”

Taylor Swift just reached another milestone – her 113th show!

On Tuesday July 9, Zurich became the latest European city to be graced by the pop superstar’s record-breaking Eras Tour, after she played the first of two nights at Letzigrund Stadium. The show was her first concert in Switzerland during her sprawling 18-year career.

During the show, Swift played in hot temperatures and even acknowledged the heat during the Lover part of her set. “You’re still dancing like crazy,” she said. “Instant bonus points right from the start.”

During her acoustic set, in which she plays a selection of songs unique to each date of the Eras tour, the star noted that the Zurich show was her 113th on the tour.

“This is actually our 113th show of the Eras tour, and this is my favorite number that I never mention,” she joked to the audience. “I just thought since it’s my favorite number, I would play some of my favorite songs for the acoustic part.”

Swift then treated the audience to a mashup of Always Track “Right Where You Left Me” and the 1989 Song “All you had to do was stay.”

The show also marked just over a year since the star’s departure Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)the re-released version of her classic 2010 album – and fell on a date immortalized in Swift lore: July 9. (On the Speak Now In the song “Last Kiss,” Swift sings: “On this 9th of July / The beat of your heart / It jumps through your shirt / I can still feel your arms.”)

“Happy 9th of July to all who celebrate,” the artist said during her acoustic set before singing a mashup of “Last Kiss” and “Sad Beautiful Tragic” on the piano.

At her final tour stop in Amsterdam last weekend, the “Blank Space” singer hosted her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who appeared to get emotional as she played an acoustic song mashup that included a reference to his jersey number, 87. On Swift’s final night in Amsterdam, the two were spotted leaving the Dutch stadium hand-in-hand and waving to the cheering crowd.

The “Fortnight” artist will end her stay in the Swiss city with a second show tomorrow night before heading to Milan for her performance this weekend. She will finish the European leg of the tour with a five-date show in London in August.
