US trailer for the Hong Kong action film “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In”

“I warn you… don’t cause trouble in the walled city.” Well Go USA has released the official US trailer for a Hong Kong martial arts action film titled Dawn of the Warriors: Walled innow ready for a US release in select theaters in August of this year. It premiered a few months ago at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, and we showed the first promo trailer just before the Hong Kong premiere. The film is an adaptation of the manhua City of Darkness by Andy Seto. The main role is played by the action legend Sammo Hung as well as Louis Koo as Tornado (龍捲風), a martial arts master who is considered a legend in Kowloon Walled City. It is also produced by Wilson Yip Wai Sun (of Ip-Man Series, Flash point) And John Chong (of Infernal Affairs Series, Initial D). The film follows troubled youth Chan Lok-kwun (Raymond Lam) as he enters the walled city, discovering order amidst chaos and learning important life lessons along the way. His arrival brings decades of tension to a brutal, bloody boiling point. Even with Terrance Lau, Philipp NgAnd Aaron Kwok. What a cool trailer with neon titles! Lots of awesome action – this looks like an absolutely awesome blast. For all those who want to rock: The film will soon be in US cinemas.

Dawn of the Warriors: Walled inalso known as Jiu Long Chen Zhai Wei Chen or 九龙城寨之围城 in Mandarin, is directed by the acclaimed Macau actor and filmmaker Soi CheangDirector of numerous action films, including Our Last Day, Diamond Hill, Big Head Monster, The Killing Curse, Love Battlefield, Dog Bites Dog, Accident, Highway, The Monkey King 1-3, Kill Zone 2, Marauder, Limbo, Mad Fateand also The Monkey King: The legend begins previously. Screenplay by Kin-Yee Au, Tai-Lee Chan, Li Jun, Kwan-Sin Shum. Based on the manhua comic by Yi Yu. Produced by John Chong, Peter Lam, Wilson Yip Wai-Shun. This was originally set to premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in the Midnight section earlier this year. The film arrived in China and Hong Kong back in May.
