Celtics big man Al Horford, who returns to the team next year, packed Raising Cane’s on Boylston Street with a raucous crowd.

Horford, a title run hero and fan favorite, filmed a commercial Thursday and was just an all-around nice guy to fans the day before the Duck Boat Parade.

“Man, this is a special place for me. I feel like it’s the love that people here have for their sport, for the game,” Horford told the Herald. “I’ve been all over the country and I’ve never seen so much love and care and commitment from people, not only for their sport but for their community.”

“This is something very special,” he added about the hub.
