Watch: Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen recreates famous ‘Dracarys’ to launch McLaren’s F1 car

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone caught the attention of many. Not only athletes, but also celebrities attended the event. One of these celebrities who attended the race was none other than Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke.

Clarke, known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the series, posed alongside Monegasque racing driver Charles Leclerc. She was also later seen starting McLaren’s F1 car, recreating a scene as requested by one of the X-users.

Emilia Clarke recreates famous “Dracarys” to start McLaren’s F1 car

Emilia Clarke made a surprise visit to the F1 event. She was spotted on the legendary track with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc at Silverstone. Shortly after, a new video was shot by the mother of all dragons, later uploaded to McLaren’s X-Handle, suggesting to fans the end of Game of Thrones.

In response to this particular video, an X-user asked why Daenerys Targaryen didn’t say “Dracarys” when she started up McLaren’s F1 car. The franchise quickly recognized the need and made another video in which the 37-year-old actress recreated the famous scene by giving Dracarys’s commands before starting up the car.

It’s important to note that Emilia Clarke’s character’s Dracarys command was quite famous in the series and clearly showcased Daenerys’ growing power and ability to control dragons.

In addition to Emilia Clarke, several well-known faces were present at the British GP in Silverstone

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is one of the most important F1 events, so several Hollywood celebrities as well as athletes from various sports were present during the race. Hollywood legend Michael Douglas and his Oscar-winning wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were spotted together at the event.

Also present at the 52-lap race in Northamptonshire was American actor and film producer Brad Pitt, who recently released the first teaser of his F1 film, which he is producing and which is based on the sport.

Other notable guests include Rowan Atkinson, Tom Hiddleston, Sir Brian May, Peter Crouch, Gary Neville, Pat Cummins and Tommy Fleetwood.
