Brittany Mahomes posts “So Long, London” as a reference to Taylor Swift after stormy European vacation

There are perfect Taylor Swift lyrics for everything!

As Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany’s European vacation (during which they also saw 34-year-old Swift in concert!) came to an end, the 28-year-old mother of two showed her love for the singer on social media.

In an Instagram story, Brittany filmed the streets of London, England while sitting in the back seat of a car. The Kansas City Current owner accompanied the story with Swift’s song “So Long, London” from her latest album. The “Tortured Poets” section.

“Bye London,” Brittany captioned the video, adding a white heart emoji as she and Patrick, 28, prepare for their next destination.

On Saturday, July 6, Patrick and Brittany joined teammate and Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce in a private suite on the second night of the Grammy winner’s Eras tour stop in Amsterdam.

The longtime couple appeared in love in videos captured by fans at their first performance on the Eras Tour. In one video shared by viewers, Brittany and Patrick can be seen singing along to Swift’s romantic song “Lover” under their arms in the stands.

Brittany also shared her own video taken at the concert on her Instagram stories, including a clip from Swift’s “Red” era where she gifts the “22” hat to a lucky fan at the end of the runway.

Fans were treated to another sweet moment during the group’s performance, when Kelce was visibly moved as his girlfriend performed a mashup of “Mary’s Song,” “So High School,” and “Everything Has Changed,” which fans felt was a touching nod to her relationship with the NFL star.

When Swift sang the final lyrics to “Mary’s Song,” she referenced his jersey number, 87, and the couple’s birth year.

“I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still be looking at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my God,” she sang.

In a video shared by fans, Brittany appeared to check on Kelce while Swift sang her surprise songs at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.

Kelce and Mahomes are enjoying some rest before the Chiefs begin their mandatory training camp in Kansas City on July 21.
