Endoron Medical receives million in Series A funding

Endoron Medicinea Tel Aviv, Israel-based medical device company specializing in endograft stapling solutions for endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, has raised $10 million in Series A funding round.

The round was led by Sofinnova Partners with participation from the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund).

The Company intends to use the funds to accelerate the clinical validation of its flagship product, the Aortoseal catheter-based EndoStapling solution, as it progresses through the Investigational Device Exemption (IDE)-approved Early Feasibility Study (EFS).

Founded by Ronit Harpaz, Prof. Ron Karmeli and Eyal Teichman, Endoron provides technologies for endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). It addresses the challenges of sealing and securing endografts used in minimally invasive AAA repairs, especially in complex procedures. Its stapling mechanism ensures complete sealing of endografts while securely anchoring them, preventing long-term migration and endoleaks and reducing the need for highly invasive open surgeries with high mortality.
