TONIGHT The remaining rain showers and thunderstorms will clear up, so that the sky will be mostly clear overnight. Mild lows again, with temperatures falling to over 18 degrees.

FRIDAY Partly cloudy and hot, with highs around 90. Sudden showers and thunderstorms are again possible, especially again inland.

LOOKING AHEAD The heatwave will continue until Saturday, with highs between 35 and 35 degrees. From Sunday, temperatures will drop to 27 degrees and next week should be more pleasant, with less humidity. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible as a new air mass moves in late Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
