Teaser for “Batman: Caped Crusader” shows cast and voice of the Dark Knight

Amazon Prime Video has released a teaser for the Batman: The Masked Crusader Animated series in which the cast is announced, including Hamish Linklater, who lends his voice to the Dark Knight.

The cast also includes Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn, Christina Ricci as Selina Kyle / Catwoman and Diedrich Bader as Harvey Dent aka Two-Face.

Vanity Fair also has an interview with the cast, which includes a new photo (above) with Alfred.

“I never imagined in a million years that I would actually get the role. Not only had I never been cast in a voice role before, but – it’s Batman! You don’t go from zero to Olympus,” said Linklater, who is working for Netflix’s midnight fair“Then I got the call and screamed So loudly. I just ran and got my kids and just thought: ‘Dad’s Batman!’”

The actor also says he paid tribute to the late Kevin Conroy.

“I think it’s actually my memory of Kevin Conroy’s voice,” Linklater said. “When I rewatched the shows, I realized it was different, but I had him in my head.”
