NFC North Passing Props: Latest Jordan Love Bets

NFC North Passing Props: Latest Jordan Love Bets

GREEN BAY, Wis. – At this time one year agoThe pass over/unders for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had dropped to 3,325.5 yards and 21.5 touchdowns in his debut season as a starter.

After Love exceeded those projections by about 800 yards and 10 touchdowns, his over/unders for 2024 are much higher.

Here are the predictions at FanDuel Sportsbook for Love and his biggest rivals in the NFC North, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love

Passing Yards: 3,800.5.

Pass touchdowns: 27.5.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff

Passing Yards: 4,025.5.

Pass touchdowns: 26.5.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams

Passing Yards: 3,450.5.

Pass touchdowns: 22.5.

Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy

No individual numbers were released for McCarthy and Sam Darnold of the Vikings.

Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers

Passing Yards: 3,600.5.

Pass touchdowns: 25.5.

Who will lead the NFL in passing?

Reigning Super Bowl MVP and two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes is the favorite This puts him at the top of the NFL in passing yards with +650, closely followed by CJ Stroud of the Houston Texans with +700.

Next are Goff, Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys at +1000, followed by Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals at +1200, Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams at +1500 and Love and Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers at +1800.

Williams is at +3100 and McCarthy is at +6000.

Given Love’s performance last season and his selection of young and up-and-coming pass receivers, Love could be a smart bet. Of the 374 passes Green Bay caught last year, all of the passes were caught by receivers, and all but eight of Josiah Deguara’s passes were caught by tight ends. The big loss was running back Aaron Jones, who caught 30 passes, but his replacement, Josh Jacobs, is also an accomplished pass catcher.

“He’s got a lot of talent,” longtime quarterbacks coach Tom Clements said at the start of OTAs. “He can throw the ball, can make any throw and he can throw it from different angles, which he’s had to do at times. That’s a natural ability. Then you always have to consider how the feet match up with the route and when you can throw in time (and) when you have to move, can you make accurate throws?”

He has 19 starts, including a red-hot finish with 18 touchdowns and an interception in the final eight games of the regular season and a three-touchdown masterpiece in Dallas, and he expects bigger and better things this season.
